Dr Kacey Shale
Kacey is a registrar completing her general practice medical training through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She graduated from Monash University and has worked in various hospitals across Victoria.
Kacey grew up in Rutherglen and has recently relocated back with her family to live in Wangaratta. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and taking her Labrador Odi on adventures.

Alma started training as a GP at Ovens Medical Group in January 2022.

Dr Melissa Vile
Melissa is a Fellow of the RACGP, and has completed the Diploma of Child Health. She enjoys all areas of General Practice and has interests in caring for children and adolescents, skin checks and minor procedures.

Joel is a fellow of the RACGP and has an interest in Sports Medicine and Skin Cancer (Dermatology).
Dr Felicity Baker
Dr Felicity Baker
Felicity is a Fellow of the RACGP. She has an interest in women’s health, family planning, bariatric medicine, and education. She is a Senior Lecturer in General Practice for the University of Melbourne. She is trained in the insertion of Intra Uterine Devices and assists in Orthopaedics at the Wangaratta Private Hospital.

Jemma is a qualified medical doctor who has completed further training in evidence based psychological interventions. Jemma’s interests include but are not limited to; anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, ADHD, assisting with interpersonal skills and self-confidence.
Dr Jia Hui Ong
Dr Jia Hui Ong
Dr Jia Hui Ong graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Tasmania in 2020, and is currently completing her General Practice training through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She has worked in various hospitals such as Launceston General Hospital, Western Health and Women’s and Children’s Hospital Adelaide for a number of years, acquiring a broad range of experience.
She has interests in paediatrics, women’s health, and acute care, having done specialty rotations in intensive care and paediatrics. She values providing her patients with whole-person care and supporting them in staying as healthy as possible. On her off days, she enjoys unwinding with gym, pilates and a good Korean drama.

Alex joined the clinic in 1994. He has completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and holds a fellowship of the RACGP. He has interests in palliative care, geriatrics and orthopaedics. He regularly works as a surgical assistant at Wangaratta Private Hospital.
Dr Gavin Frawley
Dr Gavin Frawley
Gavin commenced working at OMG in 1989. He has a fellowship of the RACGP and a Diploma from the RANZCOG. He has a special interest in dermatology and skin cancers. He also has an interest in sports medicine particularly in relation to the Richmond football club!

Simon is a fellow of the RACGP and enjoys all areas of General Practice.
Simon is also the Owner and Director of Ovens Medical Group.
Dr Kate Davey
Dr Kate Davey
Kate has been associated with Ovens Medical Group since 1983, she is a Fellow of RACGP and Melbourne Medical School Academy of Clinical Teaching. She is the Senior Medical Educator MCCC-NE GP Training and is a Senior Lecturer in General Practice with Melbourne University Rural Clinical School. She has particular interests in women’s and young person’s health as well as medical education.

Steven has completed post graduate Diplomas in Obstetrics and Anesthetics and has an interest in medical education.
